Reining is a family affair for NRHA Top Twenty Owners, George & Cindy McKinzie and their daughters Carlie and Ryann.  The McKinzie’s have been involved in the reining industry since being introduced to the sport in the early 1990’s. 

Together they operate McKinzie Quarter Horses, where they stand the stallion Sporty Starlight (by Million Dollar Sire Grays Starlight out of Sportin Playgirl a Freckles Playboy mare.), run a small broodmare band and show about six horses with the help of trainer NRHA Professional Troy Heikes.

McKinzie Quarter horses have several horses for sale, such as yearlings, weanlings and broodmares.

Many are by sons of Grays Starlight and Smart Little Lena, as well as offspring by their stallion Sporty Starlight.
